When buying coffee beans for your new coffee machine with a grinder, you will need to buy the right coffee beans.
For anyone who is doing this for the first time, it can be a little daunting and confusing making sure that you purchase the correct beans for you.
By following these 3 simple steps you will be able to purchase the best coffee beans for you. Before long you will be an expert.
Buying Coffee Beans
1st Step: Choose the type of bean you want. What type though? Generally coffee beans come in 2 sorts Arabica and Robusta and they are classed by the area they are grown in. Arabica is a higher quality bean, but is a little bit more expensive and normally has a bigger flavour.
The Robusta, does not have such a good taste, it does taste good but not my ideal bean. If you are just starting out it pays to start with the Robusta, mainly because it is cheaper.
2nd Step: Select your taste and aroma features that you would like from your coffee. Read the descriptions of beans, they will be defined in terms of acidity, body, aroma and flavour. The only way that you will find the one that suits you is trial and error. Try as many types as you can until you find the best one for you.
3rd Step: Now you need to look for a reputable dealer, more than likely someone close to you or someone that has been mentioned by a friend. Once you have defined your choice of bean, when searching online for deals, can pay dividends. Make sure it is a reputable dealer and you read their terms and conditions. Also make sure that you can shop securely.
One small piece of advice is to keep in mind when buying coffee beans, that no matter how good the beans are, if your coffee machine or bean grinder is not suitable for the type of bean you have purchased, then the taste will be compromised. Always look at the manufacturer’s instructions prior to purchasing your coffee beans.
